I'm a bit surprised to see that I'm on the first page of UK players. There are only thirty-four of us; I guess there are quite a few playing under the flags of England, Wales and Scotland. (What, no Northern Ireland?)

I can't brag about it as I'm 2078 and right in the middle of my Country's 4th page and happy because it could be worse...the first page ends with a 2242 player.
BTW I'm very surprised not only with the number of Brazilian players playing here but with this love for chess in a place where people breath only football. Living in an Metropolitan area of over 3 Million people, I can say that in 30 years I have not met 30 people, not even that, that had at least ONE chess book on the shelves at home...I always felt like the ugly duckling here, before coming to know this site.
