This is a game that I just finished. Is it a tactical masterpiece or unsound sacrifice?

Tactics is not my forte but:
17 Qd4 sets up an awkward looking pin
18 ..Rd8 looks stronger since the queen is stuck on the first rank protecting the rook

"masterpiece"?? You're full of yourself.

C'mon give the guy some credit, he played a very creative game; he's only asking if it could be busted by more accurate play from White.

Got to agree with whyBish on 17 Qd4 , sets up an attack with the pawn to f4 , not much left for you after that .

You needed a series of weak moves and unforced errors from white for your sacrifice to pay off , so I'd have to go with unsound :-/

Well I'd definately say it was an interesting game.
