Para quem gosta ou quer saber qual a engine mais forte para treinar ou testar sua capacidade.
Eu fiz um match de 100 partidas entre o novo Stockfish 6 (lançado em 27/1) e o Komodo 8 (que tem sido o melhor nos últimos meses). Para quem não sabe, o Stockfish é um software open source, ou seja, qualquer um pode usar sem ônus, e tem sido a mais forte engine entre os open sourrce. Na versão 5, era superado apenas pelo Komodo 8, que é um software comercial, mas a diferença era bem pouca. O nova versão 6 melhorou e superou o Komodo 8, então em breve deveremos ter o Komodo 9. Vamos às informações.
- Match com 100 partidas com controle de tempo 40 movimentos em sessões de 5 minutos, sem incremento
- Computador com 4GB RAM e CPU AMD Phenom II X2 B55 3GHz - dual core, mas as interface estava configurada para usar as engines com apenas um thread
- Sistema operacional Ubuntu 14.04 e interface XBoard 4.7.3
- Resultado do match Stockfish 58.5 x 41.5 Komodo (até que foi uma diferença considerável)
- Komodo ainda teve fôlego para ganhar 9 partidas, mas foram 26 vitórias para o Stockfish, com 65 empates (enfim, disputa bem acirrada)
Quem quiser ver o Stockfish em ação, eu estou conduzindo 2 jogos usando o perfil Engine, contra um membro do QA que joga muito bem, tem pontuação acima de 2200.

For those who like or want to know what the strongest engine for training or test your ability.
I did a 100 games match between the new Stockfish 6 (released on jan 27) and Komodo 8 (which has been the best in last months). For those unaware, Stockfish is an open source software, meaning anyone can use free of charge, and has been the strongest engine between those open source. In version 5, was defeated only by Komodo 8, which is a commercial software, but the difference was very little.
