Yeah but this way, the third anniversary tournament might actually finish by the fourth anniversary
EDIT: beaten to the punch :(

Same here. I prefer 7 days per move. 3 days per move is the fastest I can go.

Yes, 1d/m is a lot fast. How about a fixed days to all the moves ? Maybe is one good idea

A fixed number of days for all the moves dramatically favours somebody with more regular access to the internet. Somebody who can make a move, on average, once every twelve hours can make twice as many moves as somebody who can move, on average, only once a day.
Consider also the case of somebody in the Europe playing somebody in the Americas. If they both tend to make their moves in the evenings (local time), the European will make his move and, between five and ten hours later, the American will make his move. By that time, the European will have gone to bed so won't make his move for another fourteen to nineteen hours. Again, this means that the European can make many fewer moves before running out of time.
Fixed time for all the moves is a really bad way to organize a tournament.

1m/d is okay, we need a steady fast pace. But a time bank of 14d instead of 7d would give a little more flexibility to those who can't be online every day, without delaying the whole event.
