Some of you may have seen this before, but I thought I'd post it as an amusing distraction. It's the fastest known stalemate possible, by Sam Lloyd (1841-1911).

wow... 10 pcs for black can no longer move. although this can never be played in real life obviously.

I understand those very moves were in fact played in a professional match. Apparently, the players only narrowly avoided being double-defaulted for pre-arranging the game
Anyway, here's the fastest stalemate possible where all the pieces remain on the board. Also by Sam Lloyd.
