i am on holiday next week and can access the computers on only thursday and saturdays the other days im relaxing is there any other way of my time not wasting in my chess games when im on holdiay..thanks

you can use the schedule the vacation depending on how many days will you be out (this is under preferences on the left side).
Just set the number of days that you will be out and you should not be forfeited by time for your games. It would pay if you use your vacation incrementally since you mentioned that you will be accessing your computer during Thursdays and Saturdays.
Techinically as well, you can just opt to play games set at 7 days/move so you don't forfeit any games since you log in 2x per week anyway.

so how do you change the time limit for a game when the game is in the middle stage.

The game time controls cannot be changed.
