Yes, it is a draw after 269 moves, 20 hours and 15 minutes of play. It's a record which will be there for many, many years.

Ray Duque III, I don't think that it will be during for many many years. In general, during the time chess matches are getting longer and longer, I have studied some matches in the pass (around 1930-1950), and it's commun to see official games finished at 23 or 30 moves, nowadays you will not see it easy! nowadays chess players need at least 40 or 50 moves to beat a opponent! I think that the chess world tecnics are getting improved by the time and in the future we will see games with 70 or 80 moves as normal matches!
But, 269 moves, 20 hours and 15 minutes of play, are too much! ha, ha, ha..
PS: sorry about my english I hope you understand my oppinion. Best Wishes.

As long as the 50-move rule lasts, the record looks safe.

Correct Amadeus, chess games nowadays are too easy that's why I said that 269 moves, 20 hours and 15 minutes will last for many, many years. It won't be broken in a few years but it will last for a long, long time.
