Hi,
The problems from a couple of weeks ago made me realize that this site has outgrown a shared server approach so I have decided to pay a bit more money and move the site to a semi-dedicated box (a Virtual Private Server for those technically inclined).
The advantage is that I have complete control over the way the server is configured and used. The server is now up and running and I started testing, anyone who wants to help beta-test is welcome to visit it at this address: <a href="http://65.98.96.177">http://65.98.96.177</a>. The login is the same one you have on the real site. You can play games or post in the forums, but no email notifications will be sent out to anyone. Also note that any games you play there will not be preserved and can dissappear any time.
Thank you, if everything goes well I will move to the new server in 2 or 3 days. The expected downtime will be just a few minutes this time.

Just wanted to let you know that I'm taking the new server down to install a few upgrades aimed at increasing the performance (even though it isn't that bad as it is).
Thanks to all who did testing. I'm not sure how long it'll take me to have it fine tuned and ready for the real thing, it should be no more than a couple of weeks.
