How many starting positions are there to play a chess game in Fischer random chess, if we include Alice chess as an option? NOTE: Alice chess admits two subvariants.

Fischer random has 960 starting positions, and Alice chess does not have a special starting position, so each of the subvariants would have 960 starting positions. However, if you used non-symmetrical starting positions (black's setup does not mirror white's - I think this is called Double Fischer random) there would be 960 x 960 positions in each subvariant.
