Hello people,
I'm looking for a huge PGN database containing master-and-higher-rated games from which I could draw statistics regarding openings and colours.
I need a stand-alone database; I reckon there are many softwares that offer such databases (say, Chessbase), but I would rather not spend anything on that. Further, these softwares presumably won't permit the use of their databases outside of said softwares, and I find they're usually poor (statistics-wise).
Anyone has any idea as to how I could get such a database, or knows any source that would provide me with one ?
