Hi all I play the Ruy Lopez Archangel with Bc5 but when I play it Nxe5 come and I had two games with it and lost. And it's not in the opening browser. I can't see anything to play against it. Nxe5 looks very aggressive. 1e4 1e5 2nf3 2nc6 3bb5 3a6 4ba4 4nf6 5o-o 5 b5 6bb3 6bc5 7nxe5 7nxe5 8d4. I wonder if they are many lines to play against it.

Well, you should check wariaton like this in opening books. I have ABCDE book that cover many things. In one of your games you did failure already on move 8.Nxe4?..correct in teory is 8.Bxd4 with even game: 9.Qxd4 d6 =..the other waiaton 7.c3 d6 sligtly favours white and my book say that better line for white rather than 7.Nxe5
Regards!

I think bxd4 is the right line. Then qxd4 d6 Bg5 and then white has f4 lined up. It looks like I have to lose my lovely dark squared bishop. Thanks Gambitshark for then advice
