One I like very much is Arena. It is free and it is constantly updated. The software is a shell to play chess engines (UCI ones) and make analyses of games too.
Tewald, I installed it in my Pendrive, or Memory Key (how do you call it!)and run it at work using the USB port. The security at work is kind of thight and sometimes is denying access to Queealice as well...I hope they don't block the USB access too. I wouldn't know how to unlock it!

robelix, I have no access to Queen Alice or the USB drives. I work for a defense contractor, and security is VERY tight.
I think I remember trying Arena on FICS several years ago. I could be remembering wrong, of course.

It's funny how many companies 'disable' usb ports by flicking a switch in the bios, but don't lock the bios down.
