Hi to all,
After a while I'm slowly getting back to chess (no, nothing to do with holidays :))) ) and I'd like a recommendation for good book on combinations.

And one more thing, what's good/best chess software avaliable on linux (yes I'm moving to linux) ?

try SCID (Shane's Chess Information Database) at the following address:

http://scid.sourceforge.net/

it's open-source, written in C/C++ and should work on linux.

Have a look at the latest Gnu Chess, too.

there's this site about chess and linux but in french:
http://lin4chess.free.fr/

I don't understand well why you put this game ?!
It's really a bad game, no ?
Even first two move seem stupid: if 1.g3 why 2.e4... bof, no comment.
