I am a boring 1.e4 player

I think it pays to prepare against those openings. Currently I am facing an Orangutan in a correspondence game. It is not fun...

:-D

I don't know if this overly simplistic but against those things I think that following the simple rules of controlling the center and developing fast should do the trick...

Yes, it is quite addictive and starts with 1.b4
I myself have played that and I truly believe in the potential for White to get a good game. In fact I visit this webpage quite often:

But not so fast... I believe that the critical position happens on move 29 by Black. What other things could I have done differently? How could I have implemented better the plan of leaving him with a bad bishop against a good knight? My 29...g5 is wrong but I have no idea how else to deal with this position..
