Thanks! I have Arena 2.0.1; do you have a different version? Things aren't quite where you're saying. Also, are you left-handed? You keep telling me to left-click, but I have to right-click; maybe you've got your mouse configured for a left-hander...
The 3 different options you mention at the end; where do I find those? Thanks, again.

Yes I have Arena 2.0.1. Yes my mouse is backwards.
To use the "edit" and "analyze" buttons you have to make sure they are visible by right-clicking the chesboard and making sure the option "Display navigation bar under chessboard" is checked.
Have you downloaded Rybka 2.3?
PS LATEST UPDATE: Rybka just showed me a knight trap in another related variation where the natural 0-0? loses the knight to b4! because it has nowhere to go.

No, I didn't download Rybka 2.3, because I own 3.0. I was able to copy it from Fritz's use and put it in the right spot for Arena.
I'll have to spend some quality time with Arena this weekend, I guess. Thanks.

I have a slightly better version of the chess engine than you do, but you know MUCH better how to use the program. I am the one who's envious...
