No, I was thinking that 41. Ka2 was safer for the king as the new queen could block any further checks. I was thinking of a safer option that would avoid any chance for perpetual checks (sorry I didn't mention the move number).
On second look I have to agree with razoman's play as Black's position is just too weak. There was no real threat to the exposed king so the more offensive option would likely end the game sooner.
