Maybe positionalgenius was kidding when he said that there should be a championship tournament. In case not, well, there is one. All 3 are in the QA 5th Anniversary tournament, which is currently in round 6. Both cunha and Bergman have lost a couple of points. Lorfman is still playing his 6th round game. That game is actually pretty interesting - I would not know how to proceed as either side.

The above game is completed with black resigning. Can anyone explain how white forces a win? I don't see it.

I am not positive here but this might be worth looking at. Re8+ Kf7 Be6+ Kf6 at this point black cannot keep whites king out of c6 once there Rxd8 Rxd8 the c7 pawn fall. The position gets lock up for both sides but White can move its Bishop along the dialogue while black need to give way. It would be worth a try anyway.

JungJoe, I don't see how the white king gets to c6.

When I loook at this position its seems draw at the end. White king can go to c6 at this way as JungJoe says but its draw: possible: 52.Kf7 53.Bf7+ Kf6 54.Rf8+ Kg6 55.Kc4 Kg5 56.Rxd8 Rxd8 57.Kb5 Ra8 58.Kc6 Kf6 59.Kxc7 Kf6 draw..Black king gets to e7 in time.
Perhaps computers can find win for white in this somewere after 52. Rh8?..I dont know
