How do you creating an new private tournament? Thank you

You cannot create a private tournament while you are still provisionally rated. Once you have completed 25 games, you will see the link on the right of the My Games page ("Organize A Tournament?"). Welcome to the site!

yes, I thought that there could be a rule to limit a player to join in many private tournaments. I mean, you can be in only a certain number of tournaments.

there is a 50 game rule. you can only join a tournament when you have less than 50 games
I tried to start the tournament when I had less than 50 games

I've heard about the rule. I just thought the site also to limit to create many private tournaments. You tried to create a private tournament and failed. What the numbers of private tournaments are you a director? Suppose, you are in x number of private tournaments. So, the site prevents you to create other tournament as you want.

The problem is I had not used a unique name. I went with the name that I I was prompted to use. unfortunately I had already used that name.
I still cant start a tournament but I think tht is becuase I have more than 50 games.
We can only host one tournamennt at a time. If a tournament that you organized hasnt finished you cant start another one until it does.
