Live internet chess, that is. I've played some games on FICS using Babchess and they were ok but the whole FICS is somewhat limited.
I was thinking of signing up to chess.com, they seem to have a lot going on. Also, I have a copy of Fritz 13 in the post and I believe you get some free time on Playchess with that. Anyone any experience of these two sites?

I knew a guy who played live chess at the cemetary.

I tried a cc game on chess.com but didn't return so never tried a live game. I did play four live games on chesscube.com and would play there again if I wanted to play live games.

My favorit live chess site is: playok.com
There you find other live games, too.
It is free but you hardly see any advertisement.
