Steve wrote its a good indicator it could happen again.....can someone help me....How long has QA been up and has there been any big problems before now??? I have been on the site for over a year and the site has worked great...
I also lost games and tournaments...My first elite tournament I was able to enter is gone...and now my rating is under 2200. I won my bracket in a masters tournament and was waiting for the last bracket to finish and that is halted...gone....but I am not going to throw in the towl because of this hiccough..

The QA championships can take 4 years. Lets say that the probability of this problem happpening again is 12.5% in any year. What are the odds of the next QA championship being cancelled before completion? That would require 4 years without tournaments being cancelled.
(0.875)^4 = 0.59
This quick calculation show there is a 40% chance that the next QA Championship will be cancelled.

Lorfman goal was to win these championships. He has cuaase to worry that the next on will be cancelled.

"I", "I", "I"... i cant believe that most of the "offended" people just think about the "ELO", and not to enjoy the game, to meet people, luckly good people, or just to play for fun... we have the luck to have this site to play a game for ....nothing, and those people only knows to complain about games that are lost... whats the problem about that?!?!?!?, its just a fucking game men!!!!... what the hell have you inside your head???.. only grows your hair?!?!?!, no brains at all?!?!?!?.
This is incredible, now i can understand cleary why this world is like we know now... if this people have problems just for a few games, think about the ones that rules their own countries.

I'll agree with Steve on this one. I'm sure Miguel had a tough time over those several days, deciding the best course of action. Whatever options he may have had (perhaps even only the one), he was the only one to make the choice. I'm fine with the solution he took but it would be silly of me to expect everyone to see it my way. Each player has different pros and cons for staying. It's rather unfair and pointless to suggest Lorfman's choice is "not acceptable"!
