Endgame is the last stage we become skilled at. When we are below expert one side commits a serious error leaving a relatively easy to win ending. At master level and beyond errors are less common and games are decided by endgame skil.

I invite everyone to select the endings I post. I think the person posting should take the side that the exercise is intended for. For example if posting Lucena's position the person posting should take the side hoping to win. For Philidors position the person posting should take the side hoping to draw.

We should show our appreciation for those who select our games by selecting the games they post.

I don't understand what you mean by 'select the endings I post' or 'select our games by selecting the games they post'.

I have posted endgames in open games that I want to practice. Suppose that there is an endgame that you want to practice. If you select my end game from open games and post your endgame I will select your endgame.

Here is an example of an endgamethat you might want to practice. Can you queen the pawn and win?

8/8/7P/3k4/B7/8/6K1/1r6 w - - 0 1

My primary chess goal is to make USCF master. Just becuase these openings exist in the data base oes not mean that I will play them correctly in an over the board setting. I decide what my move will be and compare it to the data base. If I chose a move that reduces the game from a win to a draw or a draw to a loss I note the position as one I need to practice again. I dont make the inferior move. Instead I chose a correct move from the data base. I think this method of practice and immediately correcting mistake will dramatically improve my endgame play.
As earlier stated I am choosing endgames that will help me to improve as a player. I think the excercise is also good for my opponents. For example I thought I needed practice with Philidor's position. My opponents seem to have now idea what philidors position was until I mentioned it to them. The best way for this to be equatible for my opponents is for them to post endings that they want to practice. If you dont play over the board games you might want to practice positions that are not in the data base.

Can you draw the following position as white?

7k/3p2p1/2p5/5P2/2P5/1K6/8/8 w - - 0 1

I think you're responding to two posts that I've now deleted — they weren't aimed at you. Somebody claimed that all the positions you'd posted were drawn, so I responded that only a couple of them were. He then claimed that the non-drawn ones had been posted only after he'd made his comment, which I said you hadn't. I mentioned the tablebases to be clear that the positions were objectively won/drawn, rather than relying on my opinion when arguing against somebody who was rated a couple of hundred points higher than me. At some point between now and then, he deleted his comments so I've deleted my replies to them. I'm sorry if this person's behaviour of making incorrect claims and then deleting them when it is pointed out has caused confusion.

I think it's an excellent idea. And probably better than doing the same thing against the computer because, then, you'd never learn how to exploit your opponent's mistakes.
