No, no not YOU, just some individuals who started in the summer and MAY finish by New Year, down pieces. But you are right...I DO drop pieces frequently so you have a very good chance of beating me in fact! :-/

i was in this situation before where I was playing more than 200+ games and it totally screwed up because I lost most of them by time forfeit but it was fun. it was also very time consuming...

There is ONE other advantage to having many games: there is always a game waiting for you if you have opponents from a variety of countries. I find that, from noon to 4pm here in Taiwan, there are many opponents from Singapore, Philippines (and Brazil!) online but very few Europeans or Americans/Canadians. My European oppoenents always answer while I'm sleeping and only come online around 8PM onwards Taiwan time and more usually in the wee hours of the morning. ?:-(

There are various views on this. I can not honestly see any player here irrespective of rating being able to handle much more than 30 games and playing at full strength in all of those without the help of engines.....

I dedicate normally 1 or 2 hours daily to the study of the games that i play here (i don't play in another site). From 20 simultaneous games i have a down in the level that i can offer. This is notable especially in the openings, where a simple serious search can give you a valuable advantage (Or, at least, surprises prevent ;-) ) Now i believe that the ideal thing (in my case) is to play approximately 5 - 10 games simultaneously.

Happy holidays and new year to all.
:-D :-D :-D
