I think 2200 QA is roughly equal to 2000 ICC and USCF. USCF ratings change the slowest as I am onlly able to play about 20 rated games a week. ICC ratings might be slightly lower than USCF. ICC rules discourage but do not forbid me to use books while I play. I play with a 3min increment and my openings are guided by books. I also use a dgt board on ICC. once in a while I disable my dgt board to analyse the position. Again discouraged but not forbiden. I am only one who plays exclusively with a 3min increment. My opponents usually play games designed to finish in an hour. An hour is too fast to consult books and I doubt they change thier habits for an occassional super slow game.
