If you suspect cheating then just play the same game against the same opponent.Normeley you get an exact copy of the game even the little mistakes the opponent made before he shall make again but a realy strong player will try to improve and make other moves wich are better to his oppinion.Ofcourse you can try to cheat there to but it is going to be verry difficult then to explain why you have played that move because you dont have any idea about your moves and cannot explain your plans.If asked then a strong player to analize he can read the plans who shold be more or less similar if you are not cheating;

Unless, of course, you opponent thinks that you are cheating and is trying to catch you out in the same way!

What about people who let enginges analyse the postion then get a list of moves in order of usefullness for them??
While I don't have any problem with people who use databases and books during games, I don't think chess playing engines should be used at all on a game in progress, even to just analyze a position. You don't learn if you let a machine make your moves, or even suggest a series of moves. When I do a post game analysis, and my moves don't match the best moves the computer suggests, it causes me to take a deeper look at the position and learn why the move is bad.

well in my opinion.. just play and play.. whats for you if your opponents use an engine?
despite you loose the game, you learn something. you take the benefits he loose his morale
