i cannot seem to set up unrated theme games..i go
to open game set-ups, check off rated games..and
cannot seem to successfully enter an unrated game
for a theme...what to do ?

what did you enter in the "position" field? That should be the FEN for the starting board position.

the fen ?..is this something like A00 ?..about'
13 of the openings in the browser start with A00
and this is what i entered..is the fen something else ?..and i did uncheck the 'rating box'too

"Fen" is the notition of the position. It is written f.ex. in the last line of the "game history" under the diagram of a game.
Like this:
