a chess problem...i need help in figuring out the 6 possible places a white rook can move to in order to force the black king into a corner...there are only 3 pieces on the board..the white king is at f7, the white rook is at g6 and the black king is at h7...this is not a game i am playing...i am solving a problem at chess4kids scholastic program...i cannot solve the problem and there is no hint or tutorial to help me out...i cannot move on in the lesson until i figure this out...i have tried..i cannot get all 6....someone help me with this puzzle ?

if I understood the problem correctly, the 6 places are: a6, b6, c6, d6, e6 and f6.
this should force the black king to h8.

yes...that did it...i kept trying to use the h file and multiple g and h squares...thank you...i will go back at the end of the series and redo the problem.. ..and i understand the chess question better now that i see the solution.
