wow... it has been so long since i logged into the forum and I am so glad that the requests for a private tournament was finally granted by miguel... nice work and keep it up. your dedication is very much appreciated.

What does "established" mean? What makes you an "established" chess player? Does it go on the amount of games you have played, or the time you have been a member?

You are an estabilished player here when you finish your first 25 games and get an estabilished rating, without the letter "p" by your rating points. Whether you knew it or not, you are an estabilished player, with 50+ games played.

Good work, Miguel! Let me ask you about the concept of established members in QueenAlice.com/ Does it mean paid members? Other chess sites permit paid members only to organize a tournament, so I think my question applies.

Ferdyrojo, there is no such thing as a "paid member" here. Some of us harrassed Miguel into taking donations a couple of years ago, because there were several interruptions of the site, and we thought if we could donate some funds he could afford better service. A donation is a donation, it isn't really paying to play. Miguel does this because he's a great guy.
