OK, so it's not a bug but it's rather strange behaviour, I think. Also, it contradicts the documentation.
``About This Site'' says ``During the first 25 games played by a player'', the rating is provisional. A player who has completed 25 games is not ``During the first 25 games.'' So the page should be corrected to ``During the first 26 games...'' But, I have to say, 26 is a bizarre number of games to have chosen.

My rating is still provisional, and yet I have completed 27 games. What do you make of that?

Only rated games count towards becoming established.
