The following thread includes a game in PGN tags but the pawn promotion on Black's 29th move doesn't go through: Black ends up with a pawn on the eighth rank.

Hum...

I didnt notice it before. :-/

Lets try again with another annotation system:

FlipFirst Move   Previous MoveNext Move   Previous Move (with variations)Next Move (with variations)   Last Move

1. h4 a5 2. h5 a4 3. h6 a3 4. hxg7 axb2 5. gxh8=Q b5 6. Nc3 b1=N

And...

Nothing...

Yep. There is a bug.

Cheers,

On the other hand, the correct PGN notation for promotion doesn't have the equals sign. Also, beco's 6... b1=N is a really awful move. ;-)

Oops -- my mistake. PGN does have the equals sign; it's FIDE's specification of algebraic notation that omits it. So, in PGN, it's ``6... b1=N'' but in FIDE short algebraic, it's ``6... b1N''. Apologies for the confusion.
