I agree with Manuel, even that I lost one game.
Dont panic, it is just chess. And I am not claiming victory nor other chance to play the game. To be honest, my opponent who claimed the game also dont have way to know if it is a bug or not. And then, to make my comment true, I will not play the game again, even if I had a new chance I will resign.
I put the effort of Miguel to make this free site above all other issues, and I only hope we can enjoy this site for long time.

Well, this site is OK [tehnicaly], free and nice [of course, thanks for that  ], but [of course], those bugs [recurrents] are not OK, and, now, we have totally confusion on the site  [btw., and totally invalid/irregular the rating list, unfortunately...]
But, I hope so, that this problematic situation, will be fixed, btw., maybe with a some "system-time restore" action, something like, "back in the past operation"[a few days backward], in a date [and in the current game position], without these serially, the "time expired" bug.

If you really and deeply like to chess, then, chess is almost everything for you, then, chess is not only the game, sport, fun, then, chess is much, much more for you, then, chess is for you, something as artistry, or generally, chess is LIFE ! :-)

I can't find anything wrong with the way the compensation time is added, but I've made a change that I hope will make it "less weird" to many.
From now one when I add compensation time of X hours all active games clocks will be increased by X hours. Once a move is made on those games the compensation will disappear, the opponent will not benefit from the compensation. I think this makes more sense than the system I had in place before.
I hope I never need to test it.
