Why all automatic tournaments have 7d/m setting? Is it possible to have more AUTO tournaments that are 3d/m or 1d/m+[3days in bank]?

Many people cannot play a 3d/m tournament because they don't have the time. Anybody can, in principle, play a 7d/m tournament, even if they'd prefer it to be faster.
Of course, I wouldn't object to new tournaments with faster time controls as long as the 7d/m tournaments don't disappear.

I am happy with the 7 days/move time controls for tournaments, although I don't mind having another section of tournaments with faster time controls.
GameKnot's tournament games are 2 days per move.

I am not asking for 7days/move tournaments to disappear. All I am asking is more variation on the time control for AUTO-tournaments, so you could choose to participate in faster tournaments if you want.

Yes, we should have another set of tournaments with faster time controls. That way, we could choose to participate in a 3-days-per-move tournament, a 5-days-per-move tournament or a 7-days-per-move tournament.
