With regard to the original question about addiction, I'll go back to my June statement; I swore off chess for 3 days this week again. Had to put myself "on holiday" on both sites I regularly play on.

I recently stopped playing blitz over the internet, and I find myself little bit hard resisting it... so I guess I'm an addict :)
(I stopped playing blitz, because I tend to play fast in standard time games)
