What happens if two players with prov ratings play each other and they are more than 400 points apart?
Does the higher player lose points if they draw or lose?

Nothing as I read it.
Special rule: if the opponent is rated 400 or more points below or 400 or more points above, then the rating will not be affected no matter the outcome.

Thanks. I was mislead by something I read elsewhere that implied that players with 25 games got special protection.
