If anyone's interested, I have a copy of Dennis Potter's television play Son of Man.

My understanding is that he made his name giving simultaneous displays ('The feeding of the multitude') but then he came up against an extremely strong chess computer engine which refuted his 'Jerusalem Opening' (Donkey variation).
He got crucified!
