Hi Miguel,
Since Wednesday it's taking me up to 2 MINUTES each time I open the site or input a move or record notes to a game, generally whenever I do something that results in one screen being replaced by a new one. Queen Alice is the ONLY site where this happens. I had my computer checked twice by my local technician, but he couldn't find anything. Is there something wrong with the server?
Please help me if you can, because I'm getting pretty desperate!

You need to tell me the time (and time zone) where the site is slow, then I can test it at that time. The speed is fine now, I don't see any problems.

It occurred at the time of my previous mail and again at the present time, in addition to several times in the past few days since Wednesday. I live in Belgium which is GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) ignoring local seasonal time variations.

I suspect this is a problem on your side, I haven't seen any speed problems today. I'll check again tomorrow.

I've not noticed any problems here in the UK. (BTW, Belgium is GMT+1.)

thanks for looking into it again. This morning I logged in without a problem for the first time in 5 days... Coincidence?! Anyway, if you don't see any problems on your side, I guess I'll have no alternative but to go back to my local technician... or another one!

you're right, Belgium IS GMT + 1... misread it in my agenda
