After I won 6 games (no draws or losses) my rating was 1892. I won another 5 games but only 1 of the 5 games made my rating go up to 1895. Why is my rating not going up anymore?

Because you're playing much lower rated opponents. How much you're rating will grow after the win depends on your opponents rating. Or to be more precise, it depends on difference between your and your opponents ratings.

So, when my rating was 1500, I played opponents with rating about 1500, but after winning 11 games, my rating is now about almost 1900, so they are now too weak for me?

yes ... if judged by the rating ... I don't know about QA, but usually rating is growing very fast in the beginning. As for 1500 mark, as far as I noticed here, if you win your first game, you're rated 1500, and if you lose it, you're 1100 :)) or this just stands if both player are unrated. One more thing, you're rating is still not esablish, so you cannot know are 1500 players to weak for you until you try playing higher rated opponents.

Youre rating is calculated through the average rating of the opponents you play against, untill you have 25 games completed, like GileCar said. After that, it is easy to calculate yourself, what you can gain or loose against a certain opponent. The formula is: difference in rating x 0.04 + 16
Example: Your rating is 1895 (established) and your opponents rating is 2095
You win: 200 x 0.04 = +8 + 16 = +24 You draw: 200 x 0.04 = +8 You loose: 200 x 0.04 = +8 - 16 = -8
For your opponent, it is the way around, he can only win 8p. and loose 24p.

I don't mean that 1500 players are too weak for me, I mean, QueenAlice thinks they are too weak for me and so my rating does not go up when I win?
What rating must my opponents be so that my rating will go up after I win?
