Topic: claimed games while site was down

When I moved the system to the new server I had the claim button turned off to avoid people losing games because they couldn't access the site.
Unfortunately as you know I had to bring the site back to the old server, and when I did that I forgot to turn the claim button off there as well, so there was a small window of time where the claim button was enabled, and unfortunately some of our more impacient members took advantage of it and claimed some games.
I just want to tell the affected members that I intend to reinstate those games, I'm not an unfair person, I just made a little mistake in the heat of a very complicated day for the site. I will repair my mistake by reopening those games in the next day or two.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Miquel, no problem at all, as I told you earlier. I am sorry to hear of your server problems. Yes, I had to take a vacation because of my job situation. This is why I use the maximun move time of fourteen days. I will try to move faster so my opponents will not think I am stalling.

Ok, I reopened the games that were claimed during the down time last weekend. I'm sorry it took me so long.
There was a case where the claimed game caused a tournament to advance to the next round. In that case I restored the tournament to the previous round and converted the games on the deleted round to standard non-tournament games.
I also restored the Claim Game icon, all those who were waiting to claim their games can do so now.

Thank you very much for your service to the membership at Queen Alice. This is why I like plying here.
You treat everyone fairly, and go way out of your way to make things right and work very well for all.
