e2cp,
You are not in danger of losing your games. I mentioned this several times in the forums, the 'claim game' option will not show up on anyone's games. You don't have to take vacation days.
I did have a little accident that caused some people to claim their games but I intend to reopen those games as soon as I get a moment.
You can complain if you feel you have to, but I don't think I deserve that. I'm not sure how familiar you are with the process of administering a site of this type and size, but know that I tried to take every precaution to minimize problems. Many situations outside of my control happened last weekend and that forced me to act fast to try to get the site back up as soon as possible.
Thanks for your comment, Ryan!

Hi Kritikos,
My suggestion is to wait for 1 of 2 things to happen:
1. Miguel will turn on the 'claim game' button in a few days. If your opponent still hasn't moved at that point, you can already claim the win by forfeit if you wish.
2. Your opponent moves before Miguel turns on the claim button. In that case, the game will proceed as normal.

Thanks Duncan.
I agree. I need to fix a few games that were accidentally claimed. I don't want to do that in a rush so that means I'll do it on Saturday when I have more time. After that I'll enable the claim button again.

Excuse me ryanwilson, my comments were directed to Miguel, not you sir! As far as I'm concerned Miguel may start charging me anytime. Why do I say this, simple, because whatever he charges me will be worth it at quadruple to price.
Also, I stated it was NOT a complaint. If I do not ask for help, how will I receive this?
Further, if I do not apprise him of problems, how is he going to know any exist?
Since you now know I am female, have why have you been monitoring my activities here?
Since you have been monitoring my posts, you have failed to remember this: "MIQUEL--thankyou for your timely response to MY problem. A problem I brought upon myself."
I should expect more from a Gentleman such as yourself from the Great White North!
When my schedule allows, we will play some Chess. You will have White, if you wish to play Black, then my first move is 1 a3.
Then, we will see if your Chess is as ascerbic and as forceful as your rhetoric!
humbly, e2cp
