I want to start a private tournament where games start from different starting position . Is it possible for games that start from different positions to be rated lest can we even force a starting position in a private tournament games . I know it can be done by mutual understanding but i believe understanding will be lost after losses

Different starting positions in private tournaments can only be done by mutual agreement of the competetors, and will be rated. Already set-up positions can only be done in challenges, and will never been rated games.
