Hi, I've seen that many games in the first round of the QA Anniversary Tournament were won by time. I think this happens during the server change. Is it possible to replay this games. Im asaking this, because I think we all want a winner that played the games.

No, those games were lost on time according to rules and after compensation for the down time. The players who lost that way are disqualified and will not be paired in round 2.

Hi, I won two game by 'time expired' (I wait longtime before use it) but my opposant don't play any move. I ask me why my ratings go up with no play. It's better, I think, to don't increase ratings until there's three move play. It's just a suggestion... regards, Alain

On a non-tournament game you always have the option to 'cancel' the game instead of claiming it. Tournament games always need to have an outcome, that's why you have no other choice other than to claim.

Hello All,
My mentor gives me the following game to share:
[Event "Interzonal Tournament"] [Site "Palma de Mallorca"] [Date "1970.??.??"] [EventDate "?"] [Round "23"] [Result "1-0"] [White "Robert Fischer"] [Black "Oscar Panno"] [ECO "A10"] [WhiteElo "?"] [BlackElo "?"] [PlyCount "2"]
1.c4 1-0
He further tells me that Fischer made his move, punched his clock, and then proceeded to go search for the whereabouts of his Argentinan adversary. Very, very Sportsmanlike, don't you think.
GM Panno could not be found and lost by Time Forfeit.
Best, e2cp/Kay
