Occasionally (and it's happening at the moment), I get a strange effect when using the back and forward buttons below the board to scroll through a game. As soon as at least one piece has been captured, the board shakes from left to right every time one of these buttons is pressed. What seems to be happening is that the browser has to reload some or all of the images in the captured pieces display each time the back or forward button is pressed. Because of this, it temporarily displays a placeholder icon for each captured piece. Since the icon and the piece images are a different size, this causes the board to move slightly to one side. Then, when the images reload, the board moves back again.
This is with Firefox 2.0.0.10 under Linux; I've also experienced the same thing with Firefox (I don't remember which version) under Windows XP.

I suspect it's something related to caching. When I forced the browser to reload the page, the problem got even worse and the browser was clearly retrieving the piece images for the captured box from the web server each time a move was made on the board.
