(Black lost on time)

According to the rules of chess, it is a draw. :-/

Well, if I'm not wrong, if you have only the King your opponent have 50 moves to make mate. If it not happen in 50 moves, the player with the King has the right of claim draw.

Was it the question?!

No. If fifty moves pass without a capture or a pawn move, a draw can be claimed. In the case of, say, KRR vs K, the player with the two rooks could, in theory, do nothing useful for forty moves, then sacrifice a rook, then do nothing for forty more mores and then deliver checkmate.

Was it the question?!

No. The game linked by the_knife ended as KQRP vs K but the player with only a king won on time. Law 6.10 of the FIDE Laws of chess says that ``... the game is drawn, if the position is such that the opponent [of the player who has run out of time] cannot checkmate the player`s king by any possible series of legal moves, even with the most unskilled counterplay.'' Since it is not possible to deliver checkmate using only a king, this game should have been declared a draw when Black ran out of time.

Yeah Yeah... Richerby that's what I would say.

"If fifty moves pass without a capture or a pawn move, a draw can be claimed"

Good.
