What is the opening you usually use? When i play white I use Benko's opening and when I play back I use Van't Kruijs opening.

I always use e4 when I'm white and opposite of that when I'm black.

I avoid e4 e5 like the plague. Usually d4 as white and c5 in response to e4... but currently am having problems dealing with an early white advance to e5.
I'm in the middle of a game against a white player playing 1d4 2b4 ... it is holding up more than I had expected

Okay, I will take your advice. Maybe that's the reason my rating is too low because of my opening which is the only opening I know or maybe the only opening I always use.

Unlikely. Weaker players normally benefit more from studying tactics.
