Just wondering, if I'm in a game that qualifies for the 50-move draw rule: 50 moves without any pieces being taken or pawns advanced
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fifty_move_rule
will it automatically force a draw, or give me an option to declare a draw.
In traditional chess, I believe the player requesting a draw has to refer to his playsheet.
Thanks, Dave

You probably need to "offer draw", but the "offer" won't be delivered to your opponent: the draw will be automatically granted.

ok, thanks. fortunately, the game didn't go on that long and ended in a repetition-draw.
