Hello,
I was wondering why the member list, once present in the menu on the left, is now only available from the "My messages page" by clicking on the right-hand mini menu. Apart from being a little harder to reach, I fint it pretty counter-intuitive (what does the member list have to do with the messages?).

It's there now for me (i.e. normal place). I think the whole site has been behaving peculiarly (very slow) for the last few hours.

Maybe you have hidden the link in the left menu by clicking "-" near "Community"

I have expanded the "Community" menu but the only items present are "Tournaments", "Forums" and "Donations"... no way of having the "Member list" item re-appear. Can any moderator/site administator explain?
I've also been experiencing very slow performance in the last 12 hours or so...

Has the performance improved more recently?

A little. 
But the issue of the member list remains.
