Onceupon
OK, let's try another one.
Black's Rook on a8 is unprotected.
How should White proceed?
RIVAS
1.BxNf6 if 1...Bxf6 then 2. Qe4..
Onceupon
Correct! Good to see a
weaker
player having a go
Onceupon
Solution:
1. Bxf6
removes the black defender of the e4 square.
After Black's
1...Bxf6
or
1...gxf6,
White can play
2. Qe4
when Black either loses the Rook or is mated on the next move.
