1. Kf4 Ke7 2. g5 fxg5+ 3. hxg5 hxg5+ 4. Kxg5 Kf7 5. f6 Kf8 6. Kg6 Kg8 7. Kf5 Kf7 8. Ke5 Kf8 9. Ke6 * Current Position: 5k2/8/4KP2/8/8/8/8/8 b - - 8 9
I need to understand FEN notation Does the lower case b mean that it is blacks turn? Do the dashes mean that castling is not possible for either side. What does9 the 8 mean? Does the 9 mean we are at move number 9?
Is there any way to state that a positio has occcured more than once?
Is there any way to state how many moves of the 50 move rule have been used?

Wiki can help...
b means black to move first dash means no castling possible (KQkq if all castlings possible) second dash means no en-passant in next move 8 means the half moves for the 50move-rule (if it would be 100 then remis could be claimed) 9 means next move is the ninth
