Am I allowed to consult my previous (complete) games with a similar opening/position to one I am playing?

Is this in the right forum?

Yes, you are allowed to consult old games of yours or of other players, from this site or any other site, book or magazine.

The only thing that is not allowed is to use a chess engine to analyze the game for you.
