Can you delete your ID from the system?

I hope not! From a database admin's perspective, that would be a nightmare...if you've played ANY games at all, your opponents have those games in their portions of the database, and the program needs two opponents to list.

No, accounts cannot be deleted. If a player stops coming the system will convert the account to 'disabled' after a month without activity. But the account and all the games played remain in the database for others to see.

If someone does not play for a month can the ID be enabled afterwards by the user? Are there any negative consequences for having a disabled ID?

Why this obsession with secrecy?? If you come to the site and blunder away every game it is just as if you had won every game: your results are there for all to see and have contributed to the ratings of other players.

popcorn, what the heck are you talking about?! Nobody said anything involving any secrecy. I was just wondering what happens if an ID is disabled. Would my rating be erased or somethin like that...?
