you can't change your username, not allowed.

Well, is it possible to sign out and start a new membership then? Or a dual membership? I've thought about having an alter ego on QA, but always assumed that would be disallowed or discouraged. Besides, it seemed like too much trouble, considering.
And what about a member who spots an embarrassing typo only just after they've joined?
